During treatment, laser energy is delivered through the skin directly to the targeted vein, where it is absorbed and causes the vein walls to heat, collapse, and naturally seal closed. Over time, the body reabsorbs the treated vein, leaving the skin clearer and more even in appearance. This treatment is most effective for smaller veins measuring 3 mm or less.
What to Expect
During your treatment most people describe the sensation as a warm snapping feeling. A cooling system helps maximize comfort. Treatment time varies depending on the area treated, and there is little to no downtime. You may experience mild redness or swelling, which typically resolves within hours to a day.
